STORY
I was born in Bangladesh in 1961 and was brought up there. After I finished B.com Honors in Management from Dhaka University, I moved to Stockholm for further education. I have also attended different executive training courses through my employer. These have been organized by for instance Stockholm Business School and Ashridge Business School, UK and Novare, and Stockholm School of Economics
I joined SEB in 1989 and worked as a Business Leader within different areas and departments in the bank. I have been working as a head of Operations, Business Process, Operations Development, Branch Manager, and District Manager, Chief Representative Officer and client executive at SEB New Delhi and I have also established SEB’s office and business in India. I have also been appointed as a Director at the Swedish Chamber of Commerce in India. I have actively worked in different projects and opened new offices at home and abroad.
My strengths as a business leader are leading people and businesses towards a goal and developing an effective management team. My multi-cultural experiences help me to work with different people in different environments. I am result-oriented, focused on my task and move things forward. Working together with people from all walks of life is fascinating and gives me energy and improves my work.
I have been working on my leadership skills ever since I was a Cub Scout. I am still involved in a scouting organization even to this day, and I have participated in many courses as a trainer, mentor, assessor, counselor, program chief and course leader.
I have a positive outlook for the future and try to do whatever I can to leave behind a positive legacy for the next generation.
